Thinking of the art dealer who during WW2 sold Vermeer art to Herman Goering. After the war he was arrested as a traitor and his defense was that he actually was a master forger and they were all fake. Turns out he was and they were so the court said "cool, stealing from Nazis is cool". The lesson is, steal from Nazis is fine and cool

The court at first didn't believe him so he said he could create a fake but had to have the same conditions, which was drunk and high. The court said "sure, why not?" so drunk and high he painted a fake and the court agreed (he did end up being found guilty of a lesser charge but died before ever going to prison)

There should be a van Meegeren movie in my opinion

An instance for history jokes and fun times (hopefully). Figuring out how to open it up to others, site under construction like the Grand Army in 1811 ;)
